In Taiwan, many people are unable to improve the poor living environment due to various constraints in the real world. For example, loose walls and ceilings lead to frequent water leakage problems, resulting in dampness and mold in the house, which affects health; elderly people do not meet the home safety standards in their homes, resulting in frequent falls; and the continued use of old-fashioned water heaters leads to an increased risk of carbon monoxide leakage and death by poisoning. However, the threshold and conditions for local government subsidies are often more restrictive and the application period is lengthy. Therefore, Sunyu Academy hopes to help people with livelihood difficulties to carry out home repair services through the Love Repair Service Program to enhance the safety of people's home environments. We hope that through this program, we can help to alleviate people's difficulties in life.
Sunyu Academy has worked intensively with professional social workers in Taiwan to actively integrate offline and online government and community service resources, covering groups such as the silver-haired community, women, disadvantaged and physically challenged groups, children and youth, and new residents, as well as health-related resources. Whenever you make a phone call, send a message, or leave a message asking about your own or someone else's difficulties, Sunyu Academy will provide assistance to the public through professional social work resources, and even refer cases to professional organizations in Taiwan on your behalf in the hope of resolving the public's difficulties as efficiently as possible.
