Focus of work

1. To provide charitable services to the underprivileged and the poor so as to help those who have difficulties in life. To promote and publicize the value of volunteerism to the whole community and to consolidate the spirit of helping others and oneself. 2. To promote and publicize the value of volunteerism to all, to enhance the awareness of social care and to consolidate the spirit of helping others and oneself. ‍ 3.To volunteer to provide support to people in need, so that they can have a better community and living environment. ‍ 4. To assist underprivileged children so that they can have access to basic education and a better living environment. ‍ 5.To assist needy social service organizations and educational groups to provide voluntary activity planning services. ‍ 6.To help various charitable and social welfare organizations to recruit volunteers.

Type of training

Regular Volunteer Training

Various forms of training, from online to offline, from theory to practice, help trainees to fully grasp the knowledge of volunteerism. The training time is flexible and can be interspersed with different course contents according to the trainees' personal time.

Skills Volunteer Training

At the same time, it recommends and subsidizes trainees to a number of training institutions that offer a range of training courses (home economics, baby-sitting, sister-in-law (accompanying the month), nursing, elderly care, English for daily living, financial housekeeping, logistics, and so on), and trainees can choose the appropriate course according to their personal circumstances and needs, with certain concessions or subsidies on tuition fees, and ultimately obtaining certificates.

Volunteer Leadership Training

In our regular volunteer training and service teams, we will select outstanding trainees to participate in the Volunteer Leadership Training Program and have the opportunity to receive subsidies to obtain higher qualifications. Through this program, we hope to train successors for the program and increase the number of leaders for Sunyu Academy.

With the spirit of "doing our best for charity", Sunyu Academy is committed to providing charitable services to the underprivileged and the poor, so as to help families facing difficulties in their lives as well as children and elders who lack care. We regard volunteers as the most valuable asset of community services. The Volunteer Academy comes from a wide range of sectors, districts and professions. Currently, Sunyu Academy's permanent volunteer team consists of professionals including social workers, caregivers, columnists, lawyers, financial analysts, public relations and art talents, and so on.
