＊如家庭總收入符合以下任何一種情況，可獲減四分一租金：

情況一：

-家庭總收入介乎公屋入息限額50%至70%之間

例子：以一戶4人非長者家庭為例，現時4人申請公屋入息限額為$30,950。如每月收入是$21000 入息是低於70%，即$ 21,665，但是高於50%，即$ 15,475。這個家庭就乎合資格申請減免四分一租金。

情況二：

- 租金與入息比例超過18.5%，但不超過25%。

例子：獨居中年男士因疫情失去全職工作並只能做兼職幫補，收入為每月$8000元。而他居住的單位租金為每月$1500元，因此可申請半租 (因租金支出佔了他的收入18.75%)。

1. The above examples are for illustrative purposes only and not all public housing tenants will fit into the above scenarios.

2. Rent Assistance is granted for a period of two years and the eligibility is reviewed every two years. If a household is still in need of assistance after receiving Rent Assistance for four consecutive years, the HD may request the household to move to a cheaper flat in the same district. The transferring household will be granted a removal allowance and one month's rent remission.

3. 領取租援期間如有以下其中一種情況必須立即通知房署

- 因收入改變而不符資格。

- 申請了包括租金津貼在內的綜援。
