By the end of 2021, the number of consultations will reach 1.28 million, representing an increase of 16% over 2015. The Hong Kong Government provides subsidized Chinese medicine services by setting up Chinese Medicine Clinics cum Teaching and Research Centres (CMCs cum TRCs) in all 18 districts in Hong Kong to provide government-subsidized Chinese medicine outpatient services. These services include Chinese medicine outpatient services (including up to five doses of Chinese medicine) and acupuncture services. Some of the CMCs also provide bone-setting/tui na services. The fee for each service is HK$120, and these services are free of charge for Old Age Living Allowance (OALA) recipients aged 75 or above. Members of the public can book government-subsidized Chinese medicine outpatient services through the "18 District Chinese Medicine Clinics" mobile application, check the latest fund-raising status and cancel the booking. For first-time users of government-subsidized Chinese medicine services, members of the public are required to bring along their identity cards and relevant documents to register at any of the government-subsidized Chinese medicine clinics before making an appointment through the app.

With over 100 service points in 30 districts, Yan Oi Tong Mobile Chinese Medicine Vehicle Service provides Chinese medicine services to the public in all districts of Hong Kong.
