今次我們透過探訪認識了一位70多歲的張伯伯，他與兒子居住黃大仙區。他現時依靠長者生活津貼維持日常生活。伯伯健康狀況一般，患有三高問題需定時服藥。
探訪期間，伯伯向我們表示家居平安鐘未能滿足他需要，因此查詢問能否轉為流動平安鐘、以及資助安排。之後我們分別向平安鐘機構及房署了解流動平安鐘收費，以及資助項目，最後回覆了伯伯。可惜，伯伯未能乎合資助條件，如申請流動平安鐘需自費。伯伯經過一番考慮，打消了申請流動平安鐘的念頭。
伯伯感謝我們是次的幫忙，如日後再有需要會再找我們幫助，而我們亦會和伯伯保持聯絡。
現時社會福利署、房屋署及房屋協會都有為長者提供平安鐘資助，減輕長者及家人的經濟負擔。
