Cancer is the most feared malignant disease. Hearing that you have cancer is like hearing that you are terminally ill. According to the statistics released by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Census and Statistics Department on the top ten causes of death in 110 years, cancer has been on top of the list of causes of death for the 40th year, accounting for 28% of the total number of deaths, and less than five minutes a person suffers from cancer, with a total of 110,000 new cancer patients in Taiwan each year, and 50,000 people dying of cancer.
In fact, many studies have shown that cancer can be prevented. 1/3 of cancer deaths can be avoided through prevention in daily life, and 1/3 of cancer deaths can be avoided through early screening and treatment.
The AmericanCancer Society offers easy self-testing:
1, urination and defecation abnormal.
2、Long-temporal pain and soreness.
3. Unusual bleeding or unusual amount of discharge.
4. Hardness or thickening of the breast or other parts of the body.
5. Difficulty in swallowing or indigestion.
6. Visible changes in warts or moles on the body.
7. Prolonged cough or hoarse voice.
These are just some of the initial signs, and other signs include sudden fatigue, or sudden and drastic changes in weight. In short, the actual physical condition varies from person to person, and pre-cancerous changes are often difficult to detect, but it is still worthwhile to listen to your own body and observe whether there are any differences from the usual, and it is recommended to consult a physician in the hospital if there are any abnormalities.
Cancer can be caused by decades of poor lifestyle habits. According to the World Health Organization, 30% to 50% of cancers can be prevented. Cancer prevention can start from daily life. The cancer prevention concepts promoted by the Taiwan Cancer Fund over the years are in line with those of the World Cancer Research Fund. If you can follow the right dietary principles, maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, limit alcohol intake, avoid smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke, avoid excessive sun exposure, avoid cancerous infections, and undergo early screening and treatment, you will help reduce the chance of dying from cancer by 6 to 7%. to 70% of deaths from cancer.
Screening can detect cancer or its precancerous lesions at an early stage, which, after treatment, can reduce the mortality rate and prevent precancerous lesions from progressing to cancer.
The NHS offers free cancer screenings as follows:

In order to provide newly diagnosed cancer patients with navigation services from diagnosis to treatment, the NHS promotes relevant programs to provide cancer patient navigation services, including:
1、Oncology Case Manager Navigation Service
In view of the fact that people are full of fear and helplessness when they are first diagnosed with cancer, and are prone to seeking medical help or receiving other incorrect treatments, the NHS has launched the "Cancer Navigator Program", whereby once a doctor diagnoses a patient with cancer, an oncology case manager will proactively contact the patient and provide patient care, medical consultation, financial support referrals, and information on medical treatment in the first instance, and help to dispel the panic by listening to the patient's heartfelt feelings. Every year, about 90% of the newly diagnosed patients are guided to receive standard medical treatment within three months, and they also take the initiative to provide continuous care for one year to accompany the patients through the most difficult period.
With the advancement of medical science and technology, the survival period of cancer patients is relatively increasing, and they also need more continuous and multidimensional integrated care services. In order to help cancer patients learn to adapt to the physical, mental, family, and social problems they face, they can make good use of the Cancer Resource Center and the Taiwan Cancer Resource Network's physical and online cancer resource services, so that they can be accompanied by peace of mind in the fight against cancer.

The program provides 6 major needs in life: "taking care of the body", "finding resources", "taking care of the mind", "relaxing", "supporting family members", and "protecting rights and interests".
