[Sunyu Taiwan] Shuangbei Municipal Government's Senior Citizen Card and Love Card Benefits

In this issue of Sunyu Academy, we would like to bring you the knowledge about the privileges of the Senior Citizen Card and the Love Card of the Shuangbei City Government.

 

Purpose:

In order to promote the social participation of the elderly, within the $480 point limit of the Respect Elderly Card and the Love Card, the Respect Elderly EasyCard will be expanded to provide a wide range of transportation choices, as well as discounted admission to the city's public venues, so as to enhance the welfare of the elderly and encourage them to go out more often to achieve the positive policy goals of healthy aging and active aging.

 

Clientele:

1. Senior Citizens' Card: Elderly people who are 65 years old or older and 55 years old aboriginal people who are registered and actually reside in Taipei City and New Taipei City.

2. Love Card: Persons with disabilities who are domiciled and actually reside in Taipei City and New Taipei City can also apply for a Love Companion Card.

 

Service Description:

(Transportation/Sightseeing/Sports)

1. Taipei City Bus (8 points per ride)
2. Taipei Metro (8~26 points per ride depending on mileage after 40% discount)
3. Maokong Gondola (50 points per ride)
4. Temasek Light Rail (8 or 10 points per ride depending on mileage after 40% discount) After exceeding the free fare quota, you can enjoy unlimited half-price discounts for buses and metro rides after adding value to the fare.
5. By taxi. The Senior Citizen's Caring Fleet provides a subsidy of 50 points per trip, regardless of fare. (To use this service, you must have enough stored value on your card to cover the fare for the trip, and call the Taipei City Elderly Care Fleet's Smart Taxi Transfer System toll-free hotline at 0800-055850 or 55850 from your cell phone to ensure that the vehicle can be used for this service. 6. YouBike: Renting a YouBike within Taipei City will deduct 5 points for the first 30 minutes, 10 points for every 30 minutes after 30 minutes, and 20 points for every 30 minutes after 4 hours to 8 hours. (You must have at least $1 in stored value cash.)
7. Double-decker sightseeing buses: 50 points per trip, regardless of fare.

8. Admission to the Shilin Residence Main Building (50 points deducted per admission)
9. Gym (30 points deducted per use) and Swimming Pool (45 points deducted per use) at Beitou Hall
10. Swimming Pool at Shanhogou Grotto, Swimming Pool at Huludu Sports Park, Swimming Pool at Pokka Sports Park, Swimming Pool at Choumei Sports Park (55 points deducted per use)
11. Gymnasium and Billiard Room at the Minsheng Community Activity Center (10 points deducted per hour)
12. Swimming pool (50 points deducted per use), gymnasium (25 points deducted per hour, maximum 2 hours), billiards, badminton, pool and squash court rental (50 points deducted per person per use, more than one person can rent at the same time deducted), single silver hair course (50 points deducted per use), difference in ticket price must be paid from the card's stored value or by cash
13. Taipei City Yucheng Park Swimming Pool (15 points deducted per use) Taipei City Yucheng Park Swimming Pool (15-55 points per visit), Muzha Park Swimming Pool (15-30 points per visit), Jingmei Swimming Pool (20-30 points per visit), and Gym (25 points per visit).

Apply for a ticket card:

Applicants should bring the following documents to any District Office to apply
1. Senior Citizens Easy Card: Original National ID card, a 2-inch color photo, and an account book for aboriginal people over 55 years old.
2. Love Card: Two copies of the original National ID card, the original physical and mental handicap handbook, a seal, and a 2-inch color photo. 3. 3. Love Companion Card: The physically and mentally handicapped person should check the box on the same application form when applying for the Love Card. (Each person with disabilities can only apply for 1 companion card)

4. If you appoint an agent to apply for the EasyCard, please bring the applicant's ID card, a 2-inch color photo, a seal, a letter of appointment, and the agent's identity documents. (Elderly people aged 65 and aboriginal people aged 55 can apply in the month they reach the age of 65.)

Note: The Respect for the Elderly EasyCard and the Love EasyCard are registered cards and can only be used by the person himself/herself. If the card is provided to another person and the person is caught using the card, the right to use the card will be terminated, and the person will be subject to a fine according to the relevant transportation rules.
