[Sunyu Taiwan] New Taipei City Rental Discounts for Municipally Owned Bases

In order to take care of the disadvantaged groups, if the New Taipei City Government has the need to lease the state-owned land use right (set up the right to land), and the tenant who has a fixed lease for renting a house or land can apply for rent concessions if they meet the following qualifications.

 

Eligibility:

1. Low-income households, the physically and mentally handicapped, or low- and middle-income elderly people are entitled to a living allowance.

2. To lease and domicile the house on the land for residential use.

 

Grant Details:

1. If the tenant or his/her spouse is physically or mentally handicapped, the city has a 60% discount on base rent.

2. Tenants who are low-income households or low- and middle-income senior citizens are entitled to a living allowance, and the city has a 40% discount on base rent.

Documents should be available:

1. Application for rent concession.

(2) Proof that a low-income household, a physically or mentally handicapped person, or a low- or middle-income elderly person is receiving a living allowance.

 

Remarks: Establishment of land right: For large-area state-owned land that is subject to tender for the establishment of land right, the contract period is up to 70 years, and the owner of the land right should pay royalties and annual rent, and use the land for construction in accordance with the regulations; after the land right is extinguished, the above ground objects will be transferred to the state without compensation, and there is no condition for relocation.
