The Social Welfare Department (SWD) has launched the "Carers' Information Website" (CIN), which aims to enhance carers' awareness of the resources available to them and encourage them to seek assistance when necessary. The website covers services for the elderly and persons with disabilities, caring skills, community activities and resources for carers. Target Audience:
Elderly, people with disabilities, people with mental illness, children with specific learning difficulties and their carers. The hotline provides immediate support to carers and refers them to mainstream welfare service units on a case-by-case basis, so that carers in need can receive follow-up services.
