Many physically and mentally challenged people are unable to carry out activities of daily living due to illness. The use of assistive devices can help the physically and mentally challenged or the elderly to increase their independence, save the efforts of family members in caring for them, and make them feel more comfortable. In order to enable those in need of assistive devices to effectively obtain appropriate assistive devices and related resources, the First Social Welfare Foundation has established the First Assistive Device Center since 1984, which is the first assistive device service unit in the country and is committed to providing professional advice on assistive devices.

Taipei Community Life Support Center: Paving the way to a new and better life for the physically and mentally challenged with "heart".

"New Taipei City Xinzhuangtou Qianzhuang Day Care Center for the Disabled" and "New Taipei City Xinfeng Small Workshop" are units planned by the Social Affairs Bureau of the New Taipei City Government to provide community-based day care for the long term, with space utilization based on the direction that people with different levels of disability can receive services, and with a variety of activity designs that emphasize the safety of the users.

「愛不囉嗦」手作體驗館庇護工場，位於新北市新莊體育園區景觀樓，是新北市第25家庇護工場，適合全家共遊寓教於樂的烘焙教室，規劃親子同樂的體驗活動，並由唐氏兒與心智障礙者擔任小助手，帶領民眾體驗製作西點的樂趣，並與親人一起分享。
